Wildhive Wildhive Eshott Hall Set in private grounds of ancient woodland, meadows and a walled kitchen garden, Wildhive Wildhive Eshott Hall is a 17th-century Grade II-listed manor house, now fully renovated as part of The Wildhive Collection. It is 20 minutes’ drive from Newcastle and offers free parking and free Wi-Fi. Guests can choose from 14 individually designed bedrooms in the main house, many with freestanding baths, or stay in one of the Woodmans Cabins in the grounds, each with a private deck, a swing seat and some with hidden outdoor bath. A two-bedroom Foresters Bothy nestled in the woods sleeping up to 5 can be booked for families or small groups. The converted former stables have 6 further rooms, including accessible and dog-friendly options. Interiors pair antiques with bespoke British-made furniture inspired by the colors of the Northumberland moors and coast. The historic hallway features William Morris stained glass and beautiful scalloped pendants. The Garden Room restaurant, led by Executive Chef David Bukowicki, serves seasonal menus featuring local seafood, moorland-raised meats and fruit and vegetables from the hotel’s own walled garden. There is a large outdoor terrace for summer dining overlooking the garden. At the bottom of the garden are 3 pickleball courts. The Coach House wellbeing area includes a Technogym, treatment rooms and 4 outdoor thermal pods opening Spring 2027. Just a 10-minute drive from the sandy beaches of Northumberland, Wildhive Wildhive Eshott Hall is 20 minutes’ drive from Northumberland National Park, and within easy reach of Alnwick and Bamburgh castles. Alnmouth Train Station is a 15-minute drive away, with trains to Newcastle and Edinburgh. The A1 is a 5-minute drive away.
