Gillercombe is a lovely, traditional Victorian stone-built mid-terrace cottage which lies conveniently between Bowness and Windermere in the Lake District. There is a well-equipped kitchen and a basement which houses the washing machine and dryer and extra fridge and freezer. There are four bedrooms, two of which are on the first floor and they are a king-size double with en-suite and a twin bedroom, together with family bathroom. On the second floor there is a further double bedroom with en-suite shower and a 2' 6" twin bedroom, together with cloakroom. From the dining room there is a very useful boot room leading out to a well-lit rear enclosed patio with furniture which gets the sun during the day and is a lovely place to have breakfast or lunch outside on a warm day. From here you can also access the off-road rear parking via steps up from the patio. There is also a small patio with furniture at the front of the property, where it is perfect to enjoy a glass of wine in the early evening sun. Just a short walk from the cottage are the vibrant towns of Bowness and Windermere, both with a vast array of shops, pubs and restaurants to suit all tastes, and even a cinema for entertainment.
