As the name suggests the property itself was an old coach house dating back to the 1840’s and was built from local stone, however the owners have given it the love and attention it deserves and made it a fantastic holiday retreat. Surrounded by glorious countryside, this detached property is simply stunning and is everything you would want from a luxury holiday cottage. The cottage has been renovated in 2023 throughout but still retains its sense of history. Entry is into a small entrance hall instantly giving you that country feel, with underfloor heating throughout the ground floor keeping you warm and cosy on those colder evenings. You have a living room and kitchen/dining room and a wet room on the ground floor. Up the fantastic oak and glass staircase, you have two good sized bedrooms both with en-suite bathrooms and again lovely views of the surrounding countryside. To the rear of the property, you have a perfect patio area which offers a seating area and fantastic views of the spectacular countryside giving you a great place to sit out and relax in the summer months whilst enjoying a glass of fizz or simply breathing in the country air with your morning coffee.
The Coach House is ideal as a touring base with Grantham, Belvoir Castle, Stamford, home of the famous Burghley Horse Trials, and the city of Lincoln, with its cathedral and castle, all a comfortable drive away for days out. Travel inland to Rutland Water, or to the east, the coastline of Norfolk is about an hour away. For more local days out, you will find the National Trust site at Belton, famous for its house and deer park. Cyclists and walkers will love the area with great walks and cycling down the country lanes straight from the door or spend time in the beautiful gardens and watch the abundance of visiting wildlife and birds. There is so much to see and do in this undiscovered part of Lincolnshire, with good country pubs throughout the area for food and drink, local award-winning butchers, fish merchants and supermarkets that deliver to the door, so simply sit back in this spacious holiday home, relax and enjoy the view.
