Spectacular walking and bird watching are available from the doorstep with the North Wales Naturalists’ Trust Cemlyn nature reserve, with its renowned sandwich tern nesting colony nearby and common and grey seals, porpoises and dolphins. Much more wildlife can be seen locally, including polecats, owls and birds of prey. Salem Fach is perfectly located for exploring the delightful Island of Anglesey, on cycling route 566, with numerous excellent bike rides on trails and very quiet lanes within easy reach. It is also within easy reach of many sandy beaches and coves, historic monuments and visitor attractions. Church Bay with its superb cafe and renowned kayaking is just 3 miles away. Visit Holyhead for day trips to Ireland, and the Snowdonia National Park are easily accessible. Shop 5 miles, pub/restaurant 3 miles.
