"Hogan's Cottage" is a traditional style, beamed, converted old stone barn with some original exposed stone walls, situated in the grounds of our historic old " Somers Fort" farmhouse. It has been sympathetically converted using mostly original and some locally sourced, recycled, materials, but fitted out with all modern conveniences. It is very quiet and peaceful, yet very accessable.
Local attractions include the 14 beaches & Lighthouse of the Hook peninsula, Tintern and Dunbrody Abbeys, JFK homestead & Arboretum, Dunbrody Emigrant ship, Johnstown Castle Agricultural Museum & Gardens, The National Heritage Park, Hook Lighthouse, Loftus Hall, Waterford and Kilkenny cities and much, much more .
There are 2 double bedrooms ( one with ensuite shower room ) and a single bedroom, so sleeping up to 5 in all. There is an open plan Kitchen / Dining / Living room with an open fire.
