Delightfully charming newly built semi-detached chalet on the seafront, in one of the most characterful corners of the Island. Well appointed to a high spec. Eclectic mix of vintage, rustic and up-cycled furnishings. Heated oak floor. Fully fitted modern kitchen. Bedroom can be king double, or 2'6" twins. Only children over 12. No pets. Perfect getaway any time of year. Ferry discounts. 7 nights min; contact landlord for fewer nights.
The chalet is all on one level, raised on piles to mitigate for rare storm flooding. Access is via steps at both ends of the property. The bed can be made up as a king size double with a superking duvet, or two 2'6" single beds with single duvets. There are two single floor futons for children to use (not really suitable for adults). The kitchen has most tools for a discerning chef. A single oven/grill is supplemented with a microwave. The fridge has a freezer compartment.
Guests will have the chalet and its decking areas at either end to themselves. Lawned gardens either side of the chalets are communal and shared with other chalet guests / residents. Picnic tables on the lawns are also communal.
The area is particularly quiet and peaceful. We ask that you to respect this at all times for the everyone's enjoyment of this unique location. Do bring a bbq if you enjoy all fresco cooking. You can swim straight from the beach and we recommend beach shoes for the pebbles. Fishing is particularly popular in this bay, with mackerel, bass, bream and plaice being the main catches.
