Hope Cove is a quaint, picturesque village on the East coast of Devon. It's south of Port Isaac and north of Charmouth, famous for its fossil-picking at the Jurassic cliffs. The village has a National Trust-owned beach which has some of the best South Devon sand dunes. The beach is perfect for rambling along the shoreline and the National Trust owns enough land to allow horses to be ridden. Hope Cove's cafes are varied and delicious, with selections ranging from freshly made sandwiches to seafood dishes.
