Wirksworth boasts independent shops alongside the deli, butchers and bakers, as well as the Puzzle Gardens, the Heritage Centre and the surrounding countryside, including nearby Carsington Water, Black Rocks and the High Peak Trail. Only two miles away, the Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage Site in Cromford is also not to be missed.
