Ulverston 3.5 miles. A detached, stone-built beautifully-restored farmhouse, brimming with character, offering outstanding views to Coniston Water and the surrounding fells. The unique elevated position of this spacious holiday home, which sits on the edge of the Lake District National Park and on the Cumbrian Way, has been lovingly restored to provide extended family groups with excellent holiday accommodation. Groffa Crag Farmhouse provides parties with three recreational sitting rooms, two kitchens, large bedrooms, fantastic estuary views and period features including fireplaces and woodburners. The converted barn area with extra kitchen and separate lounge makes the accommodation ideal for a family gathering to enjoy this beautiful area of the country. The light-filled, high-spec kitchen includes an AGA and separate electric oven as well as corian-topped worktops. A large island comes with a breakfast eating area, and there are wide, dual-aspect picture windows to take in the glorious views of the fells, coast and lake over a morning drink, whilst deciding where to explore in the days ahead. The property sits on the edge of the Lake District National Park, which offers a myriad of walks and bike paths, with Grizedale Forest just ten miles away, where ultimate adventure awaits!
