The apartment max accommodated from 2 to 4 people it has a big garden provided with table , chairs and a barbecue to have lunch outdoor, confortable deckchairs for sunbathing and the necessary to play with your kids. The house is in a strategic location, at only 100 mt from the lake and at few meters from the greenway: a walking way that crusses all villages from Griante to Colonno (of Tremezzina). At 5 minutes walk to can find: the bus stop- a miny market with buchter-a post office-a coffee and ice cream shop-a tobacconist- a green grocers-a baker shop- a big green park . The beach Amila is a 500 mt. wolk and there is also the Parco Mayer in Tremezzo for swim . You can also have an unforgettable experience making a cruise on our lake by ferry –boat, looking at our ancient villages and our wonderful landscapes.
Villas and gardens: Villa Carlotta in tremezzo, Villa Balbianello in Lenno, Villa Monastero in Varenna and Villa Melzi in Bellagio are historycal sites of big importants and beauty, either for their inner rooms or for their amazing gardens. On Tuesday , in Lenno along the lake, there is market where you can find each kind products, but aboveall cheese of the local pastures sausages, fishes, the local oil and honey made by our beekepers.
How to get: To reach mezzegra from Milan: Motorway A9 to Como- Chiasso, exit at “Lago di Como” the last exit for Italy; than take the direction to Menaggio, after about 30 km you arrive in Mezzegra.
To reach Mezzegra from Lugano (Swiss) motorway A2 , to exit Lugano Nord carry on directions “Gandria” and go on towards Porlezza and menaggio. At the traffic light of Menaggio take the direction to Como in 10 minuts you arrive in Mezzegra. By train : The near est station is that of Lugano (Swiss) at about 25 km from Mezzegra, from this station you have to come by bus, by taxi or by car-rental. In Italy the nearest stations are Como San Giovanni or Como nord Lago, from there you can come by bus, by taxi, or by boat .
