Enjoy a break away from the crowds in a lovely rural setting with extensive country walks on your doorstep and private swims in our indoor heated pool. Our extensive grounds give everyone the ability to spread out and enjoy outdoor games including table tennis. Cycling on our empty country lanes is a delight and safe. We have two adult mountain bikes that guests can borrow. Damson Cottage is located in 8 acres of beautifully maintained grounds on the Kent Downs - an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Within a contemporary barn, it offers 3 bedrooms and 3 bath / shower rooms - sleeping 6 in comfort. Local attractions include Leeds Castle, Canterbury, Whitstable, Chatham Historic Dock Yard, Dickens World and the many gardens and castles of Kent. Day trips to France, Bruges or London are all well within reach.
The open plan kitchen/lounge/dining area is fully equipped with everything you would expect from a luxury cottage plus many extras such as Nespresso coffee maker, champagne flutes, ice bucket etc.
The lounge area has a large curved screen TV, Blue Ray/DVD player, air play speaker and DAB radio. A Wi-Fi internet connection is available free of charge.
Damson has use of a gas BBQ (summer months only) and outside seating area on decking to the rear of the cottage. The cottage enjoys two private swim sessions per day in our luxury indoor heated pool which is open all year.
The cottage enjoys a lovely rural location with 3 good pubs within 2 miles and plenty of lovely walks to be had in the local woods and gorgeous surrounding countryside.
