Summary: Beautiful grand Georgian house but a little tired. Spa was branded as luxurious but it was pretty basic and a few things could be easily improved. Eg. Only 1x shower and no shower gel, shampoo or conditioner. The Steam room was barely working and the chairs/furniture around the pool were not tidied from old wet towels. The bar room could do with a revamp and the drinks service could be improved. The room was very comfy and clean but again missed the extra touches like dressing gown, mini bar etc. Overall the main house was beautiful and really well maintained but simple things like a shabby/modern coat stand and some of the furniture in the cocktail bar detracted from the historic look and feel of the house. We had a good stay and the staff were excellent but would not say the property is as luxurious as advertised.
