Today, it’s a self-contained, characterful apartment that’s been cleverly upgraded to give the feel of being aboard a boat, with wood, detailing and layout all echoing its maritime setting. Step outside and you’re only metres from the harbour beach, with big-sky sea views over the bay and coastal walks starting almost from your front door. There’s residents’ parking for one car, Wi-Fi throughout and space for up to two dogs (supplement applies), so the whole family can enjoy a stay by the water.
Inside, the open-plan living, dining and kitchen space is designed for relaxed, easy-going breaks. The lounge area includes a TV, DVD player and a double sofa bed for extra flexibility, while the dining table seats up to six – perfect for simple suppers after days on the sand or exploring nearby East Neuk villages.
