Hobart House is a unique three storey Edwardian town house, rumoured to have once been a Sea Captains' house. It has high ceilings, stripped floorboards, period features and crisp white bed linen.
It has been restored to provide practical, family friendly, self-catering accommodation in the heart of Newquay. Sleeping up to 10 in five separate bedrooms, with a large comfortable living room enjoying sea views and a spacious and light eat-in kitchen.
It is ideal for one large family, two or three families sharing, couples sharing, mature groups of friends and surfing or golfing breaks.
We have super fast broadband in the house so if you need to incorporate WFH you can be assured of the best internet connection we can provide.
Located just a few minutes walk to restaurants, bars and three picturesque surfing beaches (Towan, Great Western and Tolcarne). Fistral Beach is a 15 minute walk in one direction and Watergate Bay is a 15 minute drive in the other direction.
We have parking for two cars in our private double garage. The roads around the house are free to park on a first come, first served basis.
Explore along the beautiful North Cornwall coast via road or on foot along the South West Coastal path.
Newquay is also at one of the narrowest points of Cornwall, meaning that the more tranquil, sailing towns and villages of the south coast such as Fowey are within a 45 minute drive away. The Eden Project is also within a 35 minute drive.
Hobart House is the perfect holiday base.
