The houses originate from the 16th century and are set in 25 acres of land with stunning views across the fields to the coast. This is a small-family run business with a total of ten holiday cottages for rent. The well equipped cottages are of different sizes: small huts are equipped to host two guests, there are modern huts to accommodate up to seven, and the farmhouse itself sleeps eleven persons. A heated outdoor swimming pool (open from Easter up to the end of September) children’s play area, hot tub, games room (with pool table and table football) and tennis court allow guests to enjoy spending some time together. The property is near the A39, making it an ideally situated starting point to discover the beautiful surrounding areas in North Cornwall and North Devon. The Eden Project, Tintagel, Boscastle, Pencarrow, Post Isaac, the Camel Valley, Padstow, Clovelly and Appledore are all within easy reach. The large sandy beaches are very popular amongst surfers, and there are several surf schools. Lifeguards are on duty during the summer months and the sea pool at Bude provides a haven for safe swimming. The area around the South West Coast Path and Bodmin Moor is a perfect place for hiking. Horse riding, golf, sea-fishing, canoeing and coasteering are all available locally. There are numerous good restaurants, shops and supermarkets near Bude. You will find great cycle routes in the area. You can also enjoy a nice walk along the canal to Bude or across the fields to Widemouth Bay. Country cottage This country cottage offers space for six persons. There is a double bedroom and a bunk room on the ground floor, with a shower room. The upper floor hosts the open plan kitchen and living-/dining area. The kitchen is fully equipped including electric oven, fridge/freezer combination, microwave, dish washer and a washing machine and clothes dryer. A dining table, flat screen television, DVD player and Wifi are also available. There is a second double bed on a mezzanine or gallery floor over the living area. The cottage has a terrace with seating which overlooks the swimming pool.
