Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: One of the nicest places we have stayed in decades of travel. Place is physically beautiful--great combo of beautiful preservation with some modern Italian art and design. Fantastic location away from the crowds. Very good local restaurants close by, as well as water bus stops. Great staff--Franco and team. 10 on a scale of 10...and we are persnickety!

Summary: Hard to imaging a better hotel in Venice...nice to live like a rich 17th century Venetian merchant for a few days
