Come and enjoy a relaxing break at Glebe Cottage. Built ten years ago the cottage is in the middle of the small village St Ewe, close to the popular, local pub The Crown Inn. A traditional exterior hides a modern interior with double height ceilings and an open plan living area. Huge glass doors frame a fantastic view, whilst underfloor heating keeps the cottage warm and cosy. On hot days throw open the doors onto the deck which wraps round the back of the house, on chilly evenings light the wood burning stove and curl up on the large, comfortable sofa and watch a movie.
Three en-suite bedrooms give everyone their own space and an open plan living area guarantees you won't get stuck in the kitchen. Meal preparation can easily become a communal affair.
Outside there's plenty of space for everyone to relax with three well organised areas to make the most of the sun throughout the day - relax in the hammock, watch the sunset from the deck or watch the local farm life in the shape of the many cows and sheep in neighbouring fields. You might even spot an owl hunting in the field below the cottage.
St Ewe is a quiet village with a good pub and medieval church. Plenty of beaches are within easy reach, The Lost Gardens of Heligan are round the corner, The Eden Project is a 15 minute drive and Mevagissey is just down the road
The picturesque south coast of Cornwall is just 3 miles away and the beautiful Roseland Peninsula is full of pretty villages and hidden beaches with plenty of places to explore and keep you busy during your stay. Two of Cornwall's most famous attractions: The Eden Project and The Lost Gardens of Heligan are very close to the cottage and are both well worth visiting.
If you want to see more of Cornwall, St Ewe is very well located for visiting the whole of the County. The North Coast is a short drive away, with Jamie Oliver's Fifteen restaurant at Watergate Bay and Rick Stein's Seafood Restaurant in Padstow both within 40 minutes of St Ewe. You can easily plan day trips to Lands Ends in the West and Tintagel in the North from your comfortable base at Glebe Cottage.
