It seemed like they didn't expect us to book the more expensive privilege room, which was disappointing from the start. When checking in, the staff member giving us our key card claimed we hadn't paid, even though the payment was visible on their system – we had to waste time showing proof anyway. Every time we asked for help, we rarely got a direct response, with the only exceptions being some of the cleaners. To make matters worse, one cleaner opened our room door without knocking or speaking – we could have easily been undressed, which was incredibly uncomfortable and unprofessional. Overall, it's a mixed bag: the hotel itself is nice, but the staff treatment and lack of basic protocol made our stay far less enjoyable than it should have been.
