The space
The Old Travellers Rest is the ideal place to relax, unwind and enjoy stunning views over the Duddon Valley. This quiet, away from it all Lake District valley is ideal for visiting the Western, Southern and Central areas of Lakeland. At the head of the valley is Cockley Beck where the two notorious passes of Wrynose and Hardknott meet, a drive not for the faint hearted! One of Cumbria's best drives is from Ulpha over Birker Fell into Eskdale, on a clear day affording spectacular views of the mountains of Scafell, Bowfell and Great Gable.
The Apartment:
A spacious living area with ample seating for 3 people, a smart TV and electric fireplace to give it that super cosy feel. A fully equipped kitchen with everything required to rustle up a tasty home cooked meal.
The bathroom has a toilet, bath, a shower cubicle and a sink basin.
For larger family's or groups of friends Miterdale which accommodates 4 people is directly above and can be booked in conjunction with The Old Travelers Rest.

Up to two well behaved dogs are welcome, however we kindly ask that they are kept off the beds and furnishings. Please also ensure that you clean up after your dogs if you allow them to foul outside the property. Please bring your own bedding and towels for your dogs.
There will be a £50 call out fee if keys are locked inside the property and a £100 fee if keys are lost.
