Positive: A beautiful little cottage in a great canalside location. The beds were very comfortable, it was very clean and everything we could possibly need was provided. There was great communication with the property staff by text, (whom we didn’t need to contact, I hasten to add!), they were keen to ensure had everything we needed. More family came over to Barrow to enjoy a delicious lunch at the Navigation Inn (located not 100 yards from the property), followed by a lovely walk along the canal. We would definitely at Periwinkle Cottage again, should the occasion arise.

Negative: The only minor drawback was that access to the parking spot was down a narrow track. There was not space to turn the car around easily, so we reversed back down the track to leave each time. Having said that, it is not a big enough drawback to stop us staying again.

Summary: A great little cottage in a beautiful location!
