What a setting for this 17th century detached traditional farmhouse, found in an enviable, secluded position and surrounded by 25 acres of glorious Lake District countryside. Close by to the southern tip of Coniston Water, alongside a working Lakeland farm, blissfully picturesque in every sense. This substantial farmhouse is the perfect setting for family holidays and sociable gatherings surrounded by quintessential Lakeland life and with breathtaking views in every direction including super view towards Coniston Old Man. A network of walks are available straight from your doorstep in every direction and if searching for a peaceful spot to escape the everyday, you have found it here at Raisthwaite Farm. == Accommodation in detail A private drive leads over a cattle grid to Raisthwaite Farm with ample parking outside; bring your bikes as there is plenty of space to keep them here. At the front of the farmhouse is a traditional entrance porch leading into the entrance hall but we prefer to access the property directly into the breakfast farmhouse kitchen which has everything you may need. There is a dining room being ideal for formal gatherings complete with original working range incorporating a hearty open fire. There are two separate living rooms, each with relaxing furnishings and woodburning stoves, perfect for cosy evenings. On this level is a shower room and useful utility room. Staircase to first floor with two king size bedrooms, one double and one twin bedroom, each enjoying the dreamy countryside views and on this level is the modern house bathroom with shower over the bath. Upstairs to the magnificent loft suite with sumptuous super king sleigh bed.
