Our beautiful 32' static caravan really is 'air' bnb, perfectly located on Shobdon Airfield Caravan site. The airfield is very popular, fully licensed and has a great club area and cafe open 7 days a week. Popular with all types of aviation, there are light aircraft, gliders, helicopters and microlights. Our caravan is on the edge of the campsite in the middle of the airfield, offering an amazing view of the runway, hangar and apron/parking from inside the living room.

Shobdon Airfield is located perfectly for exploring the beautiful Herefordshire/Shropshire countryside and only a few miles from the Welsh border and Brecon Beacons National Park. There is a very well-stocked shop in the village only 1 mile away and the AeroClub cafe opens at 9 am 7 days-a-week and serves superb food, tea and coffee. If you are here for the flying, lessons are available, as are pleasure flights, just call Shobdon AeroClub before you want to fly and they'll take good care of you. If you simply want to see the beautiful countryside in Herefordshire, Shobdon Airfield is the perfect location to unwind. We are surrounded by orchards, woods and amazing walks, but only 10 minutes drive to a huge supermarket. With brilliant access 24/7 and parking next to the caravan, you can drive, walk or rent an E-Bike from the AeroClub to get around the local area. Don't forget, you can also fly in and out too - not many other Airbnbs can offer that facility!
