Set amongst beautiful, countryside, on the edge of The Dartmoor National Park. South Cuma is a beautiful, recently converted barn with an abundance of space, sleeping 10. The ground floor features open plan, kitchen/dining/living space with an enormous floor to ceiling height of 21ft in the living area. The kitchen has been wonderfully equipped with all the cooking essentials that one could ask for. From the dining area, bi-folding doors open out to the paved patio with outdoor dining furniture and charcoal Barbeque. From here is a grassed area with children's goal posts. South Cuma is the perfect retreat for those wishing for that chill out break, somewhere to kick back and enjoy the bird song of a morning and star-gazing at night.
The property has been designed to provide ample of entertaining areas with a separate games room, featuring a Snooker Table (over 16s only),great for teenagers wanting to escape the adults and a Snug featuring a Woodburner and TV at the other end of the Barn. From the living area, open tread stairs lead up to the Master Bedroom with a Super-king bed and en-suite shower room.
When staying in this part of Devon, walking boots are a holiday essential. Immediately outside South Cuma is a public footpath leading through fields and countryside. South Cuma sits just over two miles from Drewsteignton, a pretty village with a Country Pub, Restaurant and village shop/post office. Whilst in the area a visit to National Trust's Castle Drogo, the last Castle to be built in England is a great day out for the whole family and offers spectacular views across Teign Gorge.
