Swydd Cwtch is a converted small 19th Century stone barn in a slightly elevated position, affording splendid views over surrounding farmland near Swyddfynnon, Ceredigion.
This tranquil location is completely separated from other nearby buildings with a small pond/water garden and mature trees. There is access to the remainder of a 600-acre working livestock farm with river, lakes, ponds and woodland – a wildlife paradise, where over 140 bird species have been recorded, adjoining the Cors Caron National Nature Reserve.
Take the circular riverside walk through the heart of Cors Caron, and you can also access the Ystwyth trail, a national cycling route. The Cambrian Mountains Astro Trail is nearby with Coed Y Bont, Pontrhydfendigaid the nearest Dark Sky Discovery Site.
The market town of Tregaron is only a 15-minute car drive away and boasts wonderful cafes, shops and the famous Talbot pub. Take a trip to Strata Florida Abbey and walk around St Mary's church or follow footpaths into the ancient Abbey woodland.
It is also only 15 minutes by car to the coast of Ceredigion Bay or the Cambrian Mountains - a perfect location to discover the heart of West Wales.
