Close by is Maunsel Lock where you can visit the tea rooms, take a boat trip or follow the Space Walk along the canal. The Quantock Hills, Exmoor National Park and Blackdown Hills are all within easy reach, making it ideal for cycling and walking. There are a range of shops in neighbouring North Petherton approx 2 miles away. The Harvest Moon pub and restaurant is 200 meters away and serves good food.
