It is a very nice 1 bedroom flat in a beautiful quiet location with great views across the river Douglas and country fields in the heart of the beautiful rural village of Parbold. Guests will have the self contained flat all to themselves having their own bathroom. kitchen living room and bedroom. The flat has its own private front door and access to the lovely Gardens and views on the River Douglas. From the gardens guests can enjoy the wonderful views and observe many varieties of wildlife. If fishing is requested equipment can be arranged for fishing on the river either from the garden or with use of kayak canoes. The village of Parbold is a medium sized village with several shops including grocery, chemist bank and post office. It also has a doctors surgery, library, dentist, several very good restaurants, cafes and a train station on the Southport to Manchester line with half hourly services most of the time. Liverpool and Manchester are approximately 45 minutes away by car or train. The Village is surrounded by beautiful countryside and hosts several conservation areas including the footpath along the Leeds to Liverpool canal. Parbold is very popular with walkers with a wide variety of trails in and around the Douglas Valley.
