Positive: My friends and I did a 10 day road trip in England - we are from the U.S. This was easily the best place we stayed the entire time. We all agreed that you could happily spend an entire week or two at this location (there is so much beautiful England within an hour's drive of this place) and the hosts are incredible. The host, Richard, was fun and enjoyable to have as neighbors on the large property. We all enjoyed talking with him in the evenings as we sat on the patio and barbecued - but Richard was also concerned about not being intrusive - and so he would politely depart after a little banter (which most of us on vacation certainly appreciate - but truth be told he could have hung around longer because his conversation was enjoyable). The property is an ancient farm (I say ancient because it has been a farm for over a thousand years) but the house we stayed in is a renovated building perhaps as old as three or four hundred years - and very nicely renovated at that. We were four men and had plenty of room - an excellent serviceable kitchen, nice common room and spacious bedrooms. This would be a great house for an entire family. If I take my wife here in the future, she may not leave.

Negative: There was nothing not to like. One of the best rental properties I have ever enjoyed.
