If you are staying with children of a certain age, Paulton Park and Peppa Pig World is the perfect day out and is just a few miles from the lodge. If you are looking to head out for dinner, the very well-regarded Les Mirabelles restaurant is a little over a mile away (early booking is advised) or a more traditional village Inn, The Lamb Inn, is also just over a mile away. The stunning cathedral city of Salisbury is also well worth a visit while staying at Lakeview Lodge, with the iconic Neolithic stones of Stonehenge a sight to behold, a little north of Salisbury. If you long for a sandy beach and some fresh sea air, the sandy beaches of Mudeford and Bournemouth are a little over half an hour’s drive away and make the perfect day out for guests of all ages.
