Summary: Good cottage if you have a dog. Lovely free space of grass for them to run and play, though if you have an escape artist it’s not totally secure. It’s a nice cottage but a bit basic no frills. Some nice outdoor seating with cushions would have been appreciated. Patio is an area of concrete so some potted tubs would have softened this. We have rented dozens of cottages and happily water pots for owners. The cottage is situated on a very busy road. This is certainly not clear from the website. The traffic noise isn’t bad and we switched off to it quite quickly, however we are walkers and the first 200 yards required to walk to the foot path was treacherous. It’s not a wide road and the lorries and buses were scary. We also walked to the pub in Goldsithney, there is no other way than tackling the same bit of road, you really take your life in your own hands. For this reason we wouldn’t return. Hot tub was lovely, great position for an evening dip as in full sun. We were very lucky with the weather full sun nearly everyday. Good location for sightseeing, we love Marazion. We had a good week.
