Spend a day in Abergavenny or Hay-on-Wye, or discover the region's abbeys, castles, museums and ever-changing scenery. A wonderful cottage for that perfect escape to the country, all year round.
The Welsh hamlet of Llanddewi Skirrid lies amid lovely countryside, 3 miles from Abergavenny, close to the Black Mountains and Bannau Brycheiniog National Park (Brecon Beacons). The famous Walnut Tree restaurant can be found here, and more fine dining at The Fox Hunter restaurant is just a short drive away. Walkers will enjoy the variety of trails around the countryside and up Skirrid Mountain, which is the most easterly peak in the Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons).
