After parking up outside the garage, follow the path to the rear stable door that leads into the kitchen, boasting a real cottage feel with a range of appliances, sure to entice some home-cooking. A few steps up lead to the dining area, where you can enjoy leisurely meals together, whilst the spacious lounge is perfect for kicking back beside the woodburning stove and gazing through the bay window at the sea views. Head out to the decked area for a better view, complete with furniture set so you can enjoy alfresco dining on a warm evening. Escape to the snug for a quiet read before finding the first bedroom on the ground-floor, offering a sumptuous king-size bed, with an additional king-size, ideal for another couple on the first floor. Start the day with a wash in the contemporary bathroom, offering choice of bath or shower over, before heading into Abergele and sampling the delights on offer. The town centre is characterised by a mix of old and new; browse independent shops, boutiques and local markets, sample Welsh cuisine and experience the hospitality of the locals in traditional pubs, and explore the imposing Gwrych Castle, sitting atop a hill overlooking the town. The pleasant seaside town of Abergele stands on the lovely North Wales coastline and is ideally positioned between the stunning Vale of Clwyd and the lovely Conwy Valley. Renowned for the impressive Gwrych Castle which overlooks the town, and its enormous sandy beach, the whole area offers safe bathing waters and excellent watersports facilities. There is also a coastal cycle path which runs along the Abergele seafront, and for walking enthusiasts, the Offa's Dyke pathway, the Clwydian Hill Range and beautiful Betws-y-Coed known as the "Gateway to Snowdonia" are all nearby. The beautiful castles of Rhuddlan, Bodelwyddan, Conwy and Caernarfon are not to be missed, and the delightful award-winning Victorian town of Llandudno, offering quality shops, restaurants, a fantastic dry ski slope and exciting cable car rides over the Great Orme, is within easy driving distance.
