Avid walkers can spend their time exploring the many local routes, such as Lathkill Dale and the Limestone Way, which are directly accessible from the village. Alternatively, you can drive to Castleton, the starting point for Mam Tor, a three-mile trail that is rewarded with glorious vistas of the Edale Valley or choose the 13-mile Tissington Trail if cycling is more your sport of choice. Surrounded by stunning countryside, the Historic village of Youlgreave winds its way along a narrow limestone shelf, situated between two of the area's loveliest valleys - Lathkill Dale to the north and Bradford Dale to the south.
