“Anam-Samh” (= “tranquil soul” in Irish) is a modern, comfortable and tastefully furnished 5-bedroomed family cottage with a conservatory and a living area of 200 square meters, idyllically situated on a secluded 2.5 acre site directly on the shores of Lough Corrib, surrounded by a very large Garden and its own woods at rear. As its name implies the house is an ideal place to get away from it all. With panoramic views of Lough Corrib and the Connemara mountains in the distance, the setting is breathtaking, peaceful and surrounded by nature. Relax and read in front of a cosy log fire; take a stroll through the surrounding countryside go fishing, hill-walking or biking through scenic Connemara or enjoy cinemas, theatre, traditional Irish music etc. It's all on your doorstep.

Tranquil, peaceful and above all the calming scenery: Enough to recharge the batteries and more. The weather was very wet while we were here, but your house and the magnificent view gave us rest and made up for it, ten times over. Clare e.g. the Cliffs of Moher and the Burren with its spectacular views and the Aran Islands by boat from Rossavael (45 minutes drive from the house).
