Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Cosy and neat. Tranquil setting..very peaceful and relaxing. The bed was extremely comfortable. The shower was good and plenty of hot water. We used the log burner on a couple evenings and it made the hut toasty and warm. We did not cook so can’t comment on those facilities, save making a cup of Coffee. We marvelled at the geese flying over to roost I guess at dusk and the huge Damson and Greengage orchard was something else to behold, can only wonder what this looks like late May! We received a warm welcome from Max and appreciated the jam,beer, milk and crisps. We got takeout Pizza from Flour in Wells one evening which was excellent. We love the area and Barney our Cockerpoo had a great time belting about on the expansive beaches of Wells and Holkham.

Negative: Nothing NOT to like but a POSITIVE suggestion would be to perhaps have an electric towel rail in the Shower room. It could go on a timer if you were worried about it being expensive to run but dry towels would be nicer than cold damp ones each day. A small linen line could be an advantage in the summer. We didn’t want to cook so can’t comment on how that would go. TV was on the itinerary but didn’t have one, but that was also kind of a good thing too☺️👍

Summary: A very peaceful and special place to stay…. Would definitely recommend 👍👍☺️
