This unique holiday cottage is set in a mature enclosed garden which runs down to the sea and Forenaught Beach. Enjoy daily seaside walks and with the dramatic tidal changes discover sea shells of various types from oysters, mussels, and cockles along the shore. Located on the Waterford Harbour estuary between Dunmore East and Woodstown, Forenaught is an easy walk over flat terrain with some soft sand and rock.

The seaside holiday cottage is situated on a cliff which is secured by hedging and bramble, however due to its close proximity to the sea and its idyllic location young children should not be left unattended in the garden.
The cottage is surrounded by a large enclosed, well-kept cottage garden. Seating and a picnic table is supplied for outside dining.
There is private parking available outside the main gate to this holiday cottage.
Local area & Tourist Attractions Close by is the quaint seaside village of Saratoga which is home to Saratoga Bar and Restaurant. Dunmore East is a 10-minute drive from Wreckers Cottage, with a selection of grocery shops, restaurants, traditional bar, cafes and take-aways.

IMPORTANT NOTES 1. Heating and Electricity:
This is an extra charge which is mostly payable to the Property Manager/Owner. In some cases, energy is charged at a fixed daily rate or a rate per unit on the units consumed or you are required to top up a Pre-Paid Meter while in others, energy charges are included in the rate you have paid. We advise you to check with the local Owner/ Property Manager prior to arrival how this is calculated or prior to making the booking
2. Security Deposit:
A minimum refundable security deposit of €200 (per property) must be paid prior to check-in to your holiday home to the local Property Manager/ Owner. This is either taken over the phone by pre-authorising your credit card when you call the Property Manager to arrange your arrival time 48 hours in advance of arrival or at others it is taken on arrival. In some locations and at certain times of year this can increase to €500 per property.
3. Towels:
Towel sets are available upon request at a small charge. Please contact our Call Centre or the Property Manager to arrange (you will find the Property Manager's contact details at the Arrival Info document sent to you in the final payment confirmation).
4. Access to the cottage:
To access this secluded holiday cottage you will travel along narrow country roads (4km) which then leads onto a quaint single road country lane with a grass verge on either side for 700m, making Wreckers Cottage a real hidden gem.
5. No television or Internet:
Please note, there is no television, nor is there any internet in this holiday cottage.
